This is one hard to find anything much about. The track was a 1/2 mile dirt oval that hosted one Cup event. 18 cars started the 200 lap race, and it must have been a good one. Herb Thomas started on the pole and led the first 199 laps. However, on the final lap Dick Rathman would pass Thomas and go on to take the win by six feet. The rest of the top five were, Lee Petty, Buck Baker and Marvin Copple. That is the only report of a NASCAR race held there. Currently the track still exist on the fairgrounds property. It runs a couple times a month, April through August.
