The track was a 1.9 mile tri-oval track made up of air port runways. At some point it also boasted a 1.85 mile road course and a drag strip. The facility hosted the 1960 Empire 200. Buck Baker started fourth, but had moved into the lead by the end of lap one. Rex White would pass Baker on lap three and go on to take the win by more than a lap over Richard Petty.
