JASON  TRINCHERE   -   ?/?/?

Kaulig Racing used Trinchere in 2020 as the interim crew chief to fill in one week for Alex Yontz.  In that race he worked with Justin Haley, at Kansas, where he called a good race and brought Haley home to a fourth place finish.  As Kaulig Racing expanded in 2021, AJ Allmendinger would drive the teams #16 car, and Trinchere was called upon to be his full time crew chief.  They had a great season, as the pair would claim five wins on the season.  They'd have 17 top five, and 21 top ten finishes.  They won early in the season at Las Vegas, and added a win at Mid-Ohio.  They won again at Michigan, and at the last race of the regular season, he and Austin Cindric battled to see who would claim the regular-season championship.  AJ Allmendinger went sliding across the finish line, after he was hit by Austin Cindric to win Friday night’s Xfinity Series race in overtime, and beat Cindric for the regular-season title.  They would add a win at the Roval, and good finishes in the Round of Eight advanced him into the Championship race at Phoenix.  In that race Allmendinger's car was never fast all night, as he never even led a lap.  They would
finish on the lead lap in 14th, and finish fourth in the season points.  In 2022,

Kaulig paired Trinchere with his new hire, Landon Cassill.  The season started off promising.  They finished 14th at Daytona, and the next eleven races would only finish worse than 15th twice, because of an accident.  They ran strong and finished second at Martinsville, and had seven top tens in the first 12 races.  After that, things leveled off, and a top ten run was rare.  Late in the season, Kaulig decided to swap the crew chiefs of Cassill and Daniel Hemric.  Hemric, the defending Xfinity Champion had under-performed the whole season, and Kaulig wanted to try and shake things up a bit.  So, Trinchere went to work with Hemric, and Alex Yontz moved to lead Cassill.  Things seemed to improve for Hemric as their nine races together saw them have five top tens finishes; including the final four events. Hemric was back with Kaulig Racing in 2023, and it is anticipated Trinchere will call the shots.  The pair was back together for 2023.  It started off bad when Hemric was caught up in a wreck at Daytona and finished 36th.  They bounced back with most runs in the top ten the next five races, and almost won at Atlanta when they finished second.  They were second at Atlanta again when NASCAR made their second trip there.  Hemric made the Chase, but they switched him to the #10 car the last eight races of the year, working with crew chief Alex Yontz.  Trinchere worked with three different drivers the final eight races of 2023.  Once with road course ace Jordan Taylor at the Roval.  He was with Derek Kraus for four starts and they had a best finish of eighth; added an 11th and 12th.  The other three races were with up and coming driver Lane Riggs.  Their best finish was tenth at Las Vegas, and added an 11th and 19th.  For the year, Trinchere led his quarter of drivers to five top five finishes and 15 top tens.  Hemric is moving up to the Cup series in 2024 and work with Trent Owens.  Trinchere will remain with the #11 car and driver Josh Williams.
