PARKER EDWARD RETZLAFF - 05/21/2003

Born in Rhinelander WIS, Parker has always loved competition and speed. Already he has accomplished incredible feats in the world of motorsports. At the age of 7 he began racing, at the age of 12 he began racing with adults on both dirt and asphalt tracks, competing and winning. In 2012, at the age of nine years old, Retzlaff competed in the Wisconsin Junior Sprints, where he won the mid-season championship. He competed in the Wisconsin Bandolero Series in 2013, finishing 3rd in points, and winning the championship a year later. He would rank 2nd in state points from 2015 to 2016. He ran full-time in the ARCA Midwest Tour in 2017, where he ranked 14th in points and ranking 2nd in the Midwest Truck Series asphalt trucks. He was also the Rookie of the Year. And for 2018, he finished sixth in the overall standings of the Midwest Truck Series. Retzlaff would sign with Visconti Motorsports for two races in the 2019 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East (now ARCA Menards Series East), driving the #74. He would finish 10th at Memphis International Raceway, for his first-ever top 10, and would finish 5th at Gateway Motorsports Park, scoring his first-ever top 5. Retzlaff made his 2019 NASCAR K&N Pro Series West debut, running the race's paired event with the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, at
Gateway Motorsports Park. He finished in 5th. In 2020, Retzlaff would sign with Cook-Finley Racing full-time, driving in the #42. He earned 5 top 10s, and one top 20, finishing 4th in the standings. He would return to Cook-Finley Racing in 2021 but only ran for a partial schedule. He would finish 4th at the Southern National Motorsports Park, making it his best career ARCA Menards Series East finish. Retzlaff made his ARCA Menards Series debut in 2020 for CFR, driving in paired events with the East series. His best finish of the season was 8th at Toledo Speedway. He returned in 2021, driving in the paired East series race at the Milwaukee Mile, where he finished 11th. In December of 2021, Retzlaff would sign with RSS Racing for a part-time effort in the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the #38. fell back after the first restart. A fuel pump issue would end Retzlaff's race on lap 158, finishing 36th. He would score his best career finish at the 2022 ToyotaCare 250, after starting and finishing the race in 10th. He made another good run at Martinsville in his next start. He started 20th and finished 12th. It was yet another good run for the up and coming driver, that not many folks had ever heard of. races in 2022, this time for owner Chris Our. This equipment usually isn’t as strong as the Rod Sieg cars he had been driving, and the results dropped off a bit. In the four races for Our; he finished 21st three times, and had a 16th place run at Homestead. place finish. As Retzlaff got used to running the full Xfinity series; he had respectable runs, with most inside the top 20. He finished eleventh at Martinsville and followed that with a seventh at Talladega. Two races later he improved one spot to finish sixth at Charlotte. He proved to be a good driver that made clean runs and completed all the laps in most races. For the season he had the lone top five finish; and added seven top tens. He had 15 top 15 runs in his 33 starts. A nice season for a Rookie in the tough and competitive Xfinity series. He ended up 16th in the season
points. In September 2022, Parker made his first NASCAR Truck Series start; coming at Talladega. He would start 29th, but run a clean race and bring home his #20, Randy Young owned Chevy in 16th. He signed to be back with Jordan Anderson Racing in 2024, piloting the #31 car. He was again team mates with Jeb Burton. Retzlaff had a disappointing season. Several races he had mechanical issues that hampered his finishes, and several more he was involved in accidents not of his own doing. When the

season started, he did well, having an impressive third place finish. He ran well again the next race as he came home fifth at Atlanta. He finished 35th the next two races as a fuel pump failed at Las Vegas, and he had a crash at Phoenix. Another good run came when he finished 11th at COTA; and at Richmond he had a respectable finish of 16th. At Martinsville he was again involved in an accident that also involved Corey Heim and AJ Allmendinger. A 22nd place run at Texas was followed by ignition failure at
Talladega, and a 30th place finish. He led a hand full of laps at Dover, before he eventually took the checkers running tenth. At Darlington he was 31st, but followed that with good runs the next three weeks, as he ended up 14th at Charlotte, ninth at Portland, and 11th at Sonoma. He had a rough patch the next nine races, as he would finish inside the top 20 on only one occasion. He was up and down season the rest of the year. rest of the season he didn't have any finishes inside the top 20. He closed the season in accidents not of his doing, the final two races. Retzlaff will not return to drive for Jordan Anderson Racing in 2025, and it is not known where he will end up. Parker also made his first career Cup start in 2024 driving for Carl Long Motorsports. He started 35th; ran a clean race, but his experience in the Next-Gen cars showed as he finished 35th, six laps down. His other start came at Daytona wheeling the #62 for Beard Motorsports.
