CHRISSY  WALLACE   -   05/15/1988

(home - St Louis, MO)
daughter of NASCAR driver Mike Wallace, and niece of NASCAR drivers Kenny and Rusty Wallace.  At 19, in 2007, Wallace became the first female driver to ever win at Hickory Motor Speedway in North Carolina.  She ran her first Xfinity race in 2010.  Before that she ran a total of seven Truck series events in 2008-2009.  Wallace's two Xfinity Series races were at the speed factories of Daytona and Talladega.  She started 35th in the Daytona race, but crashed out before completing the first lap.  She had better luck at Talladega.  She started 18, and finished one lap down in 24th.  In the Xfinity series,  She was usually driving for the Germain Racing team in a Toyota and managed three top-twenty finishes in 2008 at Martinsville, Milwaukee and Gateway. The following year, she improved this

record with a thirteenth place at Talladega, driving a Rick Ware-run Chevrolet. She also made occasional ARCA appearances in 2008 and 2011, earning a ninth place at Talladega in 2008.  She has not ran a NASCAR event since 2010.  In 2011, Wallace became the first woman to win an American Speed Association Late Model track championship at Lebanon/I-44 Speedway, the same track where her father Mike won the championship in 1990.  After stepping away from running NASCAR events; Wallace continued to run Late Model races through 2019.  After a four year hiatus, the Championship winning driver turned in her entry form for the 2023 Fall Brawl to be held at historic Hickory Motor Speedway.  The Fall Brawl consists of 200 laps around the famed 1/3 mile tight bull ring.  Wallace says she is ready to get back behind the wheel and compete.  She will be driving the #12 for Leicht Motorsports.  Out of all the tracks, Wallace said Hickory Motor Speedway is the one place she is 100% confident in making her return.  Some info from Wikipedia
