WINNINGS - PAY-OUTS - side games
Winners (top 21 based on 130 entries) of from each of the 36 races, each of four segments, and the Overall will win some of the contest purse... The payout is 100% of whatever purse the total entries received produces. No fees held out for administrative cost, etc. Also we pay out the top ten positions in the Chase... along with some side games covered below. All is covered by one entry fee. In 2025 we ended up with 130 entries and paid out 21 spots. We already have 115 entries for 2026.
Also, EVERY player who wins a weekly race will qualify for "The Chase" portion of the game, and that will have an additional 'bonus' pay-out. Previously this was a "private" game with about 30 players and we have paid out on a 1:3 ratio. (10 spots). In 2010 it was decided to expand the game to an excess of 30 players, in 2015 we saw 55 players. Since we have grown we have changed the pay-outs to a 1:6 ratio, but increased the amounts won. Still a 1:6 ratio to win money is very good and very rare in Fantasy games. I expect to have a full field in 2026; so don't wait - reserve your spot now.
Projected pay-outs look like this (below): I pay out at least on a 1:6 ratio. This is a game set up so no one "gets rich", but so most of the winnings are more spread around. Larger pay-outs come in the segment, over-all and CHASE competitions. You'll get an idea of the pay-outs listed below. I think you can see this is a game where we all have fun, but with a 1:6 payout it's not one of those games where you have to beat 250,000 people to win back anything. Remember we pay out 20 spots every week (based on entries), segment and over-all; plus the additional spots in the CHASE. That's about 825+ payout spots in the game. You won't find a game where you have so many spots to win back your entry.... all the while competing against around 130 people.
This was the 2025 Pay-outs. This is with 130 players. The amount of spots paid out increase for every six additional players. - 120 pays 20 spots.

The Chase is also a separate part of the game, and if you win a weekly race you automatically advance to the Chase. So if you have just ONE good week you have a shot at another portion of the winnings. NOW we have a vast variety of winners. So, we usually see as many as 30+ people get into the initial round of the Chase. The LEAST that has ever advanced to the Chase is 34 players. 2025 saw a whopping 41 make the Chase. So, chances are very good to advance. Like NASCAR all of those that qualify for the Chase will have a shot to win some money by finishing in the Top 10 in points in a separate Chase points portion game. Pay-outs for this is listed above. See complete rules for the Chase here.
The Elite 8 Challenge will also return in 2026. EIGHT races are picked before the season starts and the top four players that score the most in those seven races win $25, $15, $10 and $5 respectively. It is a side game that is included in the entry fee.
We also have the Road Rage. Since NASCAR will go to FIVE Road Course races in 2026; This is an additional side game like the Elite 8. The six road course races will be a separate game; where just those races pay money out to the top four cumulative point-getters. This is will pay out the same as the Elite 8. It is also included in the entry fee. Pay-outs are $25, $15, $10 and $5
For 2023 we added the Super Speedway Chaos. Since NASCAR added Atlanta as a "restricted" engine race; we now have enough races to create another fun side game races in 2023; This is an additional side game like the Elite 8. The SIX "super Speedway" type tracks will be a separate game; where just those races pay money out to the top four cumulative point-getters. It is also included in the entry fee. Pay-outs are $25, $15, $10 and $5
We also have Short Track Mayhem. We have SEVEN short track races in 2026; The those short track races will also be a separate game; where just those races pay money out to the top four cumulative point-getters. The game will be comprised of the two races at Martinsville; and Bristol and one each at Richmond and Iowa. It is included in the entry fee. Pay-outs are $25, $15, $10 and $5.
"SURVIVOR" is a great and challenging side game we added in 2021. This is a side game where the players with the lowest scores is eliminated each race until we get a winner.
I made a little change here in 2026. As usual we will start out eliminating five players per week (estimated; assuming a full group of players) for the first ten weeks. Then the next nine weeks we'll eliminate four players.... and so on. So here's the change, we will eliminate down to where we have six players left and just three weeks remain. At Talladega we will have six players remaining. Lowest score that week is eliminated. Same the next week at Martinsville. Low score of the five remaining gets eliminated, leaving us with four folks left. Then the final race of the season, those four players will go heads up with high score winning. The rest of the finish order and payout is determined by the rest of finishers highest to lowest. We'll pay out four spots. Pay-outs will be $40; $30; $20 and $10.
If there is a tie for lowest scoring team in a given week; those teams will go to sudden death the next race. The lowest scoring teams among the tied ones (the previous week) will be eliminated retroactively; - in addition to the regular elimination for the current race.
Also if you have the HIGH score one week; then you have "immunity" for the following race and can not be eliminated that week. So if two players tie for high score the first race; then they receive immunity and will be safe the second race - (no matter how bad their score is). NO IMMUNITY the final FOUR races. A Worksheet will be created and posted so everyone can keep up as we go along.
The "exact" elimination process and how many eliminations we have each week will be announced when the season starts and we find out exactly how many players we have.
More info and clarification as the season approaches.... Needless to say we like adding additional ways to win money and keep the game fun and interesting.
"POWDER PUFF" was a new game added in 2023. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month in October, we added a game JUST for the GALS. It comprises the four Cup races held in October. It pays $25, $15, $10 and $5 for the top four females, that scores the most points in those four races combined.
"FANTASY LIVE" was a new game in 2024. This game you must sign up in NASCAR.com and make your picks for that game there. We will have our own group, and you will sign into that for this game. NASCAR handles all the scoring, but we pay out $25, $15, $10 and $5 for the top four players. No Odd Ball NAMES ALLOWED> We want everyone to sign up and check the box there that says "Show Your Full Name"; that way I know who is who, so I can update it when I do "The Weekly Wrap"
"BRACKETS" is a new game for 2025. Since NASCAR has implemented a mid-season play-off, we decided to incorporate some type of "bracket" side game. We will have FOUR brackets of 32 players each. It will pay $15 to win each bracket. SEEDING will be based on our games Over-all points standings after a race to yet be selected. The leader of the overall points will be the #1 seed in Bracket One. Second in points will be the #1 seed in Bracket Two. Third will be #1 seed in Bracket three; and fourth will be #1 seed in Bracket Four. FIFTH in points will be #2 seed in Bracket One, and so on down the list. Players will go head to head each week with the higher score advancing to the next round. In the event of a TIE; the better seeded player will advance. In the final week, if there is a tie; the same two player will go head-to-head again the next week; and we'll do that until a tie is broken. This will be DOUBLE ELIMINATION. ALSO, something I am adding... IF you WIN your bracket you will earn a Spot in the Chase. Right now this is scheduled to start in the Coke 600 at Charlotte.
AND for many games you get a brick placed in your honor at Victory Junction Camp for Kids. Something like "Joe Smith 2023 Survivor Winner". We have bricks for winners of Overall Champ; Chase Champ; Survivor Champ, Elite 8 and the GALS side games.
