WINNINGS - PAY-OUTS - side games

Winners (top 18 based on 108 entries) of from each of the 36 races, each of four segments, and the Overall will win some of the contest purse... The payout is 100% of whatever purse the total entries received produces.  No fees held out for administrative cost, etc.  Also we pay out the top ten positions in the Chase... along with some side games covered below.  All is covered by one entry fee.  In 2023 we ended up with 116 entries and paid out 19 spots.

Also EVERY player who wins a weekly race will qualify for "The Chase" portion of the game, and that will have an additional 'bonus' pay-out.  Previously this was a "private" game with about 30 players and we have paid out on a 1:3 ratio. (10 spots).  In 2010 it was decided to expand the game to an excess of 30 players, in 2015 we saw 55 players.  Since we have grown we have changed the pay-outs to a 1:6 ratio, but increased the amounts won.  Still a 1:6 ratio to win money is very good and very rare in Fantasy games.  I expect to have a full field of 108 players in 2023; so don't wait - reserve your spot now.

Projected pay-outs look like this (below): I pay out at least on a 1:6 ratio.  This is a game set up so no one "gets rich", but so most of the winnings are more spread around.  Larger pay-outs come in the segment, over-all and CHASE competitions. You'll get an idea of the pay-outs listed below.  I think you can see this is a game where we all have fun, but with a 1:6 payout it's not one of those games where you have to beat 250,000 people to win back anything.  Remember we pay out 16 spots every week (based on entries), segment and over-all; plus the additional spots in the CHASE.  That's 768+ payout spots in the game. You won't find a game where you have so many spots to win back your entry.... all the while competing against a max of around 108 people.

This is the projected 2023 Pay-outs.  This is with 108 players.  The amount of spots paid out increase for every six additional players. 114 players pays out 19 spots  -  120 pays 20 spots.

The Chase is also a separate part of the game, and like in the "real" NASCAR series if you win a race you advance to the Chase.  So if you have just ONE good week you have a shot at another portion of the winnings.  NOW we have a vast variety of winners.  So we usually see as many as 30+ people get into the initial round of the Chase.  The LEAST that has ever advanced to the Chase is 34 players.  2022 saw a whopping 41 make the Chase.  So chances are very good to advance.  Like NASCAR we'll run three races and then we'll CUT down to the 18 of those that scored the most points in the first three chase races.  Then we'll cut to top 10 and for the final race the top four.  Those that make the final race will get first through fourth place money from the final races finish.  The other six spots (5th - 10th) will get paid based on their total points for the Chase portion of the game.  Pay-outs for this is listed above.

The Elite 8 Challenge will also return in 2024.  EIGHT races are picked before the season starts and the top four players that score the most in those seven races win $25, $15, $10 and $5 respectively.  It is a side game that is included in the entry fee.

We also have the Road Rage.  Since NASCAR has went to FIVE Road Course races in 2024; This is an additional side game like the Elite 8.  The six road course races will be a separate game; where just those races pay money out to the top four cumulative point-getters.  This is will pay out the same as the Elite 8.  It is also included in the entry fee.  Pay-outs are $25, $15, $10 and $5

For 2023 we added the Super Speedway Chaos.  Since NASCAR added Atlanta as a "restricted" engine race; we now have enough races to create another fun side game races in 2023; This is an additional side game like the Elite 8.  The six "super Speedway" type will be a separate game; where just those races pay money out to the top four cumulative point-getters.  It is also included in the entry fee.  Pay-outs are $25, $15, $10 and $5

We also have Short Track Mayhem.  We have SEVEN short track races in 2024; The seven short track races will be a separate game; where just those races pay money out to the top four cumulative point-getters.  The game will be comprised of the two races at Martinsville; Richmond; and Bristol and in 2024 NASCAR added Iowa.  It is included in the entry fee.  Pay-outs are $25, $15, $10 and $5.  (Fontana will convert from a 2 mile track to a 1/2 mile track in 2025 that race will be added to this at that time).

"SURVIVOR" was a great and challenging side game we added in 2021.  This is a side game where the players with the lowest scores is eliminated each race until we get down to just one team remains.
We will start out eliminating five players per week (estimated; assuming a full group of players).  We keep eliminating players until we get down to ten players remaining (That will occur with ten races to go).  Then we will start eliminating them one at a time.  We'll pay out four spots.  Pay-outs will be $40; $30; $20 and $10.
If there is a tie for lowest scoring team in a given week; those teams will go to sudden death the next race.  The lowest scoring teams among the tied ones (the previous week) will be eliminated retroactively; - in addition to the regular elimination for the current race.
Also if you have the HIGH score one week; then you have "immunity" for the following race and can not be eliminated that week.  So if two players tie for high score the first race; then they receive immunity and will be safe the second race - (no matter how bad their score is).  NO IMMUNITY the final FOUR races.  A Worksheet will be created and posted so everyone can keep up as we go along.
The "exact" elimination process and how many eliminations we have each week will be announced when the season starts and we find out exactly how many players we have.
More info and clarification as the season approaches....  Needless to say we like adding additional ways to win money and keep the game fun and interesting.

"GALS Game" was a new game added in 2023.  In honor of Breast Cancer awareness month in October, we added a game JUST for the GALS.  It comprises the four Cup races held in October.  It is $25 winner take all for the female that scores the most points in those four races combined.

AND for many games you get a brick placed in your honor at Victory Junction Camp for Kids.  Something like "Joe Smith 2023 Survivor Winner".  We have bricks for winners of Overall Champ; Chase Champ; Survivor Champ, Elite 8 and the GALS side games.
