WINNINGS - PAY-OUTS

Winners (top 12 based on 60 entries) of from each of the 36 races, each of four segments, and the Overall will win some of the contest purse... The payout is 100% of whatever purse the total entries received produces.  No fees held out for administrative cost, etc.  Also we pay out the top ten positions in the Chase.

Also EVERY player who wins a weekly race will qualify for "The Chase" portion of the game, and that will have an additional 'bonus' pay-out.  Previously this was a "private" game with about 30 players and we have paid out on a 1:3 ratio. (10 spots).  In 2013 it was decided to expand the game to an excess of 30 players, in 2015 we saw 55 players.  Since we have grown we have changed the pay-outs to a 1:5 ratio, but increased the amounts won.  Still a 1:5 ratio to win money is very good and very rare in Fantasy games.  I expect to have a full field of 65 players as we have had the last several years; so don't wait - reserve your spot now.

Projected pay-outs look like this (below): I pay out at least on a 1:5 ratio.  This is a game set up so no one "gets rich", but so most of the winnings are more spread around.  Larger pay-outs come in the segment, over-all and CHASE competitions. You'll get an idea of the pay-outs listed below.  I think you can see this is a game where we all have fun, but with a 1:5 payout it's not one of those games where you have to beat 250,000 people to win back anything.  Remember we pay out 12 spots every week, segment and over-all; plus the additional spots in the CHASE.  That's 464+ payout spots in the game. You won't find a game where you have so many spots to win back your entry.... all the while competing against a max of only 65 people.

If we have a field of 60 players - the payout would look like this --- you can see the additional winnings for the Segment, Over-all and CHASE.  It doesn't look like a big amount but over 36 races, some extra here and there tends to add up quickly.  But as I said in recent years we have had a full field, and reverted to a waiting list.  If we have the maximum of 65 players the pay-out amounts increase.

NEW ## - Now we award $25 for Rookie of the Year.  If you are a new player you are in the running for it.  It is based on season long results; including wins; segment finishes; and overall finish.

Also is the Super 7 Challenge.  Seven races are picked before the season starts and the top two players that score the most in those seven races win $25 and $10 respectively.

The Chase is a separate part of the game, and like in the NASCAR series if you win a race you advance to the Chase.  SO if you have just ONE good week you have a shot at the larger portion of the winnings.  NOW we have a vast variety of winners.  SO we might see as many as 30+ people get into the initial round of the Chase. Like NASCAR we'll run three races and then we'll CUT down to the 18 of those that scored the most points in the first three chase races.  Then we'll cut to top 10 and for the final race the top four.  Those that make the final race will get first through fourth place money from the final races finish.  The other four spots (5th - 10th) will get paid based on their total points for the Chase portion of the game.
